![]() He owes me 4 x £29.99 (October 2018- February 2019) he billed my bank account unduly as the membership had long been cancelled. So now my details including my home address have been shared with a third party? God knows who else he will pass my personal details to. The messages demanding me to pay further fees kept coming until one day I got one saying the membership was getting terminated and my details being forwarded to a debt collection agency. At this point I decided to make a formal complaint and emailed the Anytime Fitness Corporate Support Office, but again never received a reply. After another week I received another message, this time demanding the fee + £12 late payment charge. Had I known this before joining the club, I would never have purchased this membership. ![]() The gym doesn't have an email address so it is impossible to contact them in a way to later have evidence of contacting them and what was communicated. I messaged the gym through their website to ask why I was still getting billed, but never received a reply. Within the next 3 weeks I got a mobile phone message informing me my membership was in arrears. Around February i was checking my bank account statement for a different transaction and noticed I was still getting billed for that membership. Being naive I took it for granted he will stop taking membership fees after I had terminated the membership. How unwisely though, I forgot to cancel the Direct Debit instruction. I gave one calendar month notice, so everything was according to my contract's T&Cs. I cancelled my membership after the contractual 12 month initial term, by sending a cancellation letter to the gym manager, James Caine, which he definitely received as he signed on the receipt of it. Anytime Fitness Manchester Piccadilly - don't honour their own T&Cs.
